No school supplies need to be brought to school on the first day. All supplies (such as crayons, pencils, scissors, glue) are supplied by the school district. It would be helpful to have some of the above listed materials at home for use in completing the weekly homework.
Kindergarten Back To School Orientation
Aug. 17, 2016 ~ 9:00 a.m.
Students are invited to attend orientation with their parents in order to meet their teacher and visit the classroom. At 9:10 students will go out on the playground and be watched by the proctors while the parents receive the orientation information in the classroom.
Included in this file is an activity for making words, making sentences, as well as lists of sight words, lists of long and short vowel words, reading techniques, and a page showing the stages of writing.
Included are activities to extend and reinforce what is being taught in class. There are story starters to provide students with writing ideas, games, and a variety of practice activities.
Print the pictures and cut them apart. Match up the pictures that rhyme.
